Comments on Today's Speeches

On Obama:
Barack once again laid out the plan for Iraq and even detailed future military plans. Because Bush veired America off the trail of Osama bin Laden, Barack has to now utilize his voice to steer America back on course, back on target. He has never changed his stance on Iraq.

He reiterated that America went after the wrong enemy and thereby missed the target terribly. As you recall Barack has always said that he is not against war, but a dumb war, one that does not attack the necessary targets to protect the U.S. from future terrorist attacks.

I thought Barack was concise and clear on his goal to end the war in Iraq and refocus on Afghanistan. (although I have reservations with that considering the state the war has put our military and resources in)

And BTW to Bush.... the generals on the ground have to follow your warped lead or else, so of course their responses are tailored to your desires! Barack is running for President so we can now free ourselves from your wreckless leadership.
(the following photo is just satire)

On McCain:
Where do I begin. First of all McCain has pushed Bush out of the driver's seat on Iraqi dillusion and is steadfastly determined to drive the bus even further into the ground.

He was a POW (Prisoner of War) and his experience was defined as a prisoner of war...and so now his wish is to keep America
a prisoner of war.

We all know what Bush's decisions and McCain's proposals will bring: No peace No prosperity, economy will continue to struggle.

McCain says our time in Iraq has shown us how to deal with Iran. Which really just shows we went all around the mulberry bush at the expense of the nation, our nation weakend, militarily and economically.

What is sad is that these "bright" conservative minds led us into a disastrous situation...while "We the People" begged them not to. No one wants the office of the President to look stupid and confess to that, but to show leadership by letting the American people know that our focus is changing now and is necessary to defeat Al queda and Bin Laden.

Our military went into battle against the wrong target because the Commander-in- Chief led us their....that was the order. Military must follow orders. They were lead so wrongly that they could not make a decision to even suggest that we change the course...hell, let's be honest they did not know what they were trying to accomplish. We went from WOMD, oops none, to, get Sadaam, he's evil, while we're here get him(not Bin Laden!), to, drive the bus further into the ground, get entrenched in Iraqi governmental issues, (lose focus completely), introduce the Iraqi people to democracy. What! did that have to do with 911, Bin Laden and Al queda?

Now Iraq has asked us to please leave. McCain knows nothing about winning wars and everthing about being a Prisoner of War.
