After the 20,000 troops sent during last year's surge are withdrawn, by July, the military should wait 45 days before deciding on further reductions, Gen. David Petraeus told the Senate Armed Service Committee.
"This approach does not allow establishment of a set withdrawal timetable,' he said. "However, it does provide the flexibility those of us on the ground need to preserve the still fragile security gains our troopers have fought so hard and sacrificed so much to achieve."...(continue)

So let me get this straight...a stable Iraq is key to a stable America? How's that working for us? Economy in the toilet, higher unemployment rates,gas prices continue to skyrocket, education of American children and our American future continue to not even be on the burner! But I can sit comfortably and proud to know that Iraq is becoming everything America should be...Thank you Mr. President....just what we need. less
